Day 1 Toronto Arrival

Arrive at Toronto International Airport. Pick up your rental car and proceed to your hotel.

Day 2 Toronto

Take the time to explore Toronto, Canada's largest city. Options include a trip to the top of the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the world, equivalent in height to a 200-story building, with a spectacular panoramic view of the entire city and of beautiful Lake Ontario. Other options are the castle known as Casa Loma and the log cabins at historic Fort York.

Day 3 Toronto - Niagara Falls

Travel to the magnificent Niagara Falls, where the mighty waters of Lake Erie channel through the Niagara River Gorge at a frantic pace. The rushing waters then drop down a wide, steep, horseshoe shaped cliff to the bottom of the gorge en route to Lake Ontario. Try an optional boat trip onboard the "Maid Of The Mist" and sail close enough to the bottom of the falls to get wet from the hurricane of mist produced by the falls.

Day 4 Niagara Falls - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Ottawa

Depart from Niagara Falls and visit the charming village of Niagara-on-the-Lake. This village is the site of the Shaw Festival each summer, a series of plays by playwright Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries. There are also numerous galleries, antique shops, and country farm markets. Relive history at Fort George, where costumed guides teach visitors about life at the fort during the War of 1812. Other options include boat rides on the historic S.S. Pumper or on a Whirlpool Jet Boat. Continue on to Ottawa, Ontario's capital city.

This morning, travel back east along the St. Lawrence River to the popular resort of Gananoque, the chief Canadian entrance to the Thousand Islands. An optional boat tour of the beautiful Thousand Islands will be offered, which is highlighted by Heart Island and the majestic Boldt Castle, an architectural marvel. Then, cross through farmland and wilderness, returning to Toronto. The vast height of the CN Tower will come in to view signaling your arrival back in the city.
